Who is actually the <strong>concretely addressed readership<\/strong>? I am also a loyal reader of various websites that post daily news like \"get this AMEX and get 20,000 Welcome Points\" or \"buy this magazine subscription for 300 euros and get 20,000 miles\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-accent-background-color has-text-color has-background translation-block\"><strong>No<\/strong> - I don't want to subscribe to the FAZ or Spiegel every week to generate any points for myself. Mostly, the websites target a readership that absolutely wants to fly business class once in a lifetime or check into the Waldorf Astoria \"once\". In addition, many promotional deals are presented, especially with air miles - for example, 20,000 Miles&amp;More miles when taking out a credit card. Essential unpleasant aspects - such as additional costs due to high taxes, fuel surcharges, airport fees, etc. - are not really in focus.<br>Personally, I only <strong>partially<\/strong> find myself there and therefore have the goal of posting <strong>successive guides<\/strong> that enable an uncomplicated start. At the same time, the website should also be able to serve as a <strong>clear reference book<\/strong>. I will post deals only sporadically and very selectively in order to avoid a flood of uninteresting content. Away from one-off stories, towards really interesting promotions without huge outlays with subscriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background translation-block\">Being a long-time business consultant myself, I would like to focus more on the High Frequent Business Traveller and pick up professional groups like sales representatives, management consultants and all others with a business compulsion to be permanently on the road (especially young newcomers!).<br>My focus will be a bit more on <strong>hotels<\/strong>, <strong>credit cards<\/strong> and <strong>airport lounge access<\/strong>. Less so on airlines, as I actually consider the use of points for upgrades to business and first class to be an insane points-burning exercise. It is, in my view, disproportionate to invest an equivalent of points for <strong>$2000<\/strong> in a <strong>flight for 8 hours<\/strong> when a super-luxury hotel for 4 nights is available for the same number of points.
